Who is Alisha of UnLeeshd?
The last time I wrote a post like this I was 22. The question was "Where can you see yourself living in the future?" I replied "Either in America somewhere or by the coast."
It's still so funny to me that 3 years later, I actually moved by the coast in America lol
Why did you name your blog "UnLeeshd?"
The meaning of unleashed is "release from restraint" I started my blog at 21 and decided I wanted to let loose, be a little rebellious and express myself. I spelled it like this because my nickname is "Leesh"
What is your favorite TV show?
If you follow me on social media, you'll know how much I frickin' love the British show "People just do nothing" it's great and so well written. A sure fire way to cheer me up.
My all time favorite show is Friends.
Who do you look up to and why?
A few people, I have always looked up to Victoria Beckham. When I was younger, she was my favorite Spice Girl. I just love how she has created a successful business and juggles being a mother and a wife.
I adore Kourtney Kardashian for her love of natural remedies and Eco-friendly ways of living.
Lilly Singh aka Superwoman - as a fellow Punjaban, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing someone changing things up. A lot of us are brought up to believe that the dream goal is to be a wife and mother which in itself is beautiful.
Lilly has us believing that we can do that, and reach our personal goals and dreams too. Her vibe is everything!
And lastly, the strong, fierce women in my family!
Who is your favorite fellow foodie vlogger?
I currently follow a very funny and super positive lady on Instagram named
She cooks the yummiest healthy food and her videos are hilarious, she reminds me of my friends back home in the UK. As I change the way I eat and learn more about Ayurvedic medicine, I feel that Radhi is really resonating with me. I recently watched a talk of hers on YouTube and we have very similar stories in regards to getting married and moving across the pond.
I have a post coming up on Dandelion Root Tea, this tea was recommended by Radhi.
Fun fact: Radhi is wife to motivational speaker, Jay Shetty.
Why do you choose to heal naturally?
I grew up with terrible respiratory issues from early teens through to my early 20's. I was on antibiotics once every few months with chest infection and taking multiple inhalers. In my early 20's I started playing around with different home remedies and the love has continued. Fun fact: Since moving to the U.S.A I haven't had one chest infection or asthma attack!
Where do you live?
Seattle, Washington but originally from the UK
